Clear Channel Norway acquires UIP

Clear Channel Norway announced the acquisition of UIP, a solution provider for urban development and micromobility.

This acquisition provides Clear Channel with a dedicated operations organization and enhances the company's ability to deliver innovative solutions in urban mobility and city development.

Dennis Højland Nyegaard, CEO of Clear Channel Norway, said: "This agreement is a pivotal step for Clear Channel. We have had a close partnership with UIP for many years, and the acquisition gives us the opportunity to leverage their strong operational expertise and their knowledge in urban planning and mobility within our business. UIP is known for its high competence in operations, urban development, and urban mobility, which will be a valuable asset for Clear Channel.

Espen Øyen, CEO of UIP, will join Clear Channel's leadership team, while both organizations will initially continue operating as they are today. Øyen is well acquainted with Clear Channel and looks forward to the new partnership and joining Clear Channel's leadership team.
